Direct Sales Representative

Advanced Processing & Imaging, Inc. (API), a South Florida corporation located in Deerfield Beach, Florida provides innovative electronic document and content management, imaging, and report management systems for a variety of public and private enterprises across a range of sectors in the United States.

API’s is seeking energetic "solution-sales" oriented sales professionals located in the South Florida (Broward, Palm Beach) area. Sales personnel must be willing to travel and possess a strong work ethic. Select candidates will be responsible for the sale of our imaging software systems to public and private sectors. Experience selling to municipalities or school districts is a big plus.

Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of experience in software sales or related industry with a proven successful sales track record and some marketing skills for putting together proposals as well as "delivering" them. Bachelor's degree is required. Experience in software sales environment (preferably with Document Imaging).

Sales Representatives receive comprehensive salary plus unlimited commission which includes company benefits and paid holidays. Marketing Intern

Department: Marketing
Reports to: Director of Marketing
Employee Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt, Part-Time

Position Summary: This Marketing Intern opportunity is a part-time position designed to assist with the overflow of administrative and creative work from the marketing department. The goal is to ensure the proper learning and career growth guidance using real-world scenarios. The Marketing Intern will be exposed to the different concepts and diversity of considerations involved when marketing a software product. Flexible schedules are ok.

Experience: Must be a Marketing or Advertising/Communications student currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program with an accredited University.

Special Technical Knowledge: Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Office software and Internet usage for research purposes. Usage and understanding of graphic design programs is preferred, but not required.

Special Skills and Abilities: Must be bright with the “go-get’em” enthusiasm to learn about the marketing field and the day-to-day necessary tasks associated with supporting a marketing team. Excellent grammatical skills are a must.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  1. Heavy – Lifting, pulling, pushing up to or over 25 pounds or moving, assisting and/or lifting items or awkward weights.
  2. Bending/stooping, reaching above/below the waist, lifting, walking, standing, kneeling, color perception, sitting, pushing/pulling movements, fine hand and finger movements and repetitive movements.
  3. The following are necessary to do this position’s tasks: seeing and hearing

Unique Duties/Reponsibilities:

  1. Monitor the Google AdWords Account & Research alternative keywords
  2. Monitor the Customer Advisory Board (CAB) responses
  3. Gather competitive information
  4. Compile API packets as needed
  5. Print copies of brochures/case studies as needed
  6. QA the website
  7. Research conferences
  8. Database management
  9. Help with direct mailers
  10. Compile the Presentation Slide Library
  11. Proofreading copy & Participating in piece development
  12. Perform other administrative duties as required
