Value-Added Resellers (VARs) are trained sales professionals who sell API’s solutions to their existing and new clients as an added-value complement to their own products and services. VARs can offer their customers and prospects document management and workflow solutions that streamline their business processes, increase efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.

A typical sale includes API software and services (installation, configuration and training) along with ongoing technical support. VARs receive reseller sales compensation, product and sales training, and marketing support.

 VAR Commitments
  • Have a sales team to sell/market API solutions to an existing base and potential customers
  • Have a technical team with expertise in supporting Microsoft-based and/or IBM iSeries software
  • Provide installation/implementation service and support offerings
  • Provide training for the customer's system administrators and users
  • Maintain customer information to enable contact in instances of product updates and/or maintenance
